Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee operations across our spa and production sectors. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in risk management and compliance, and a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations comply with all regulatory requirements while identifying and mitigating risks that may affect the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies for both spa and production units.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments (financial, operational, safety, etc.) to identify and prioritize potential risks.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk management processes and make necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior management and provide recommendations on control measures.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to spa and production operations (e.g., health and safety, environmental laws, labor laws).
  • Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust compliance strategies accordingly.
  • Manage compliance issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and reporting to authorities.

Training and Awareness:

  • Design and deliver employee training on risk management, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the organization.
  • Encourage employees to report potential risks and violations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough documentation of risk assessments, audits, and related activities.
  • Prepare reports for management on risk exposure, compliance status, and recommended actions.
  • Keep detailed records of compliance-related incidents and actions taken.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work closely with senior management, legal advisors, and external auditors to ensure robust risk and compliance practices.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address complex risk and compliance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or equivalent are required.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in spa and production or related industries.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations for spa and production sectors.
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess risks and compliance issues.
    • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams.
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software.
