Role Summary:
As a Retail Store Manager at our client’s retail company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision, to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive store revenue and achieve sales targets, including promotions, events, and product displays.
- Train, mentor, and coach retail staff to provide excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and uphold brand standards and values.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including sales performance, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction, and use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including health and safety regulations, and take appropriate action to address any violations or concerns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance the store’s reputation and drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and use insights to adapt store strategies and offerings accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, achieving sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results and uphold brand standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
