Role Summary:
As a Real Estate Agent at our client’s company, you will be responsible for representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions and facilitating the buying, selling, and leasing of residential and commercial properties. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their real estate goals and providing expert guidance and support throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new clients by networking, attending industry events, and using online and offline marketing strategies to generate leads and build relationships with potential buyers and sellers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to determine property values, market trends, and pricing strategies, and advise clients on pricing, marketing, and negotiation strategies to achieve their real estate goals.
- Prepare and present property listings, marketing materials, and presentations to showcase properties to potential buyers and tenants, and facilitate property showings and open houses to generate interest and attract buyers.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, lease agreements, and other contracts on behalf of clients, and coordinate with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and other parties to ensure smooth and successful real estate transactions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on real estate market conditions, property values, financing options, and legal and regulatory requirements, and address any questions or concerns that arise throughout the transaction process.
- Stay abreast of changes in the real estate market, industry trends, and local market conditions, and provide insights and recommendations to clients on buying, selling, and leasing properties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property listings, client interactions, and transaction details, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or related field; professional certification (e.g., NIESV) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate agent, with a proven track record of success in residential and/or commercial real estate sales and leasing.
- Strong understanding of the real estate market, industry trends, and local market conditions in Abuja, Nigeria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
- Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to prospect for new clients, generate leads, and convert leads into sales.
- Proficiency in real estate software and tools, including MLS databases, CRM systems, and marketing platforms.
- Valid real estate agent license in Nigeria.
