Role Summary:
As a Pharmacist at our client’s pharmaceutical company, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. You will play a key role in promoting medication adherence, educating patients about their medications, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and address patient concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records, including medication histories and allergies.
- Monitor medication inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure availability of pharmaceutical products.
- Participate in medication therapy management programs, medication reviews, and adherence monitoring initiatives.
- Adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures regarding medication storage, handling, and disposal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist, preferably in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
