Role Summary:
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and counseling patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescriptions.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Monitor medication therapy for effectiveness and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug interactions and side effects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
