Role Summary:
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations by performing various tests and analyses on patient specimens to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests such as blood counts, urinalysis, and chemistry panels.
- Prepare specimens and samples for analysis.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and findings.
- Adhere to quality control and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Valid license to practice as a Laboratory Technician in Nigeria.
- Proven experience working in a medical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
