Role Summary:
As an E-commerce Manager at our client’s retail company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s online sales channels, including the e-commerce website and third-party platforms. You will play a key role in driving online sales growth, optimizing the customer experience, and enhancing the company’s digital presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies and initiatives to drive online sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the company’s e-commerce website, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and content updates, to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value, and use data-driven insights to optimize website performance and drive sales.
- Identify and evaluate new e-commerce opportunities and channels, including third-party marketplaces and social commerce platforms, and develop strategies to expand the company’s online presence and reach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to coordinate e-commerce activities and initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including web developers, digital agencies, and payment processors, to ensure the smooth operation of e-commerce activities and systems.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing, and incorporate new ideas and innovations into e-commerce strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies, including email marketing, social media advertising, and loyalty programs, to drive repeat purchases and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or related role, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and achieving revenue targets through effective e-commerce strategies and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices, with experience in website management, digital analytics, and online marketing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
