Oncology Pharmacist
Location: Mainland and Island (Travel Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Oncology Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role involves working in both mainland and island locations, with travel between sites required. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in oncology pharmacy, a passion for patient care, and an in-depth understanding of cancer therapies and treatments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of oncology medications, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare teams, and managing medication therapy for cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert pharmacy services for oncology patients, including dispensing, monitoring, and educating patients on chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
- Review and assess chemotherapy orders, ensuring appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and patient-specific needs.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Monitor patient progress, manage side effects, and recommend adjustments to treatment regimens as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on proper medication use, potential side effects, and preventive measures to improve treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards related to the handling, storage, and dispensing of oncology medications.
- Participate in clinical rounds and provide input on pharmaceutical care for oncology patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with healthcare regulations.
- Stay up to date with the latest oncology drug developments, clinical practices, and treatment protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
- Current, active pharmacy license in the relevant jurisdiction(s) (must hold all necessary licenses).
- 2 to 4 years of experience in oncology pharmacy practice.
- Strong knowledge of cancer therapies, chemotherapy protocols, and pharmacology related to oncology treatments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to shuttle between mainland and island locations as needed.
