About Our Client:

Role Summary:
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Sabi Finance Microbank adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will develop and implement compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide guidance to management and staff on compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain records of compliance activities, including audit findings and remediation actions.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks in compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compliance or a similar role in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, including KYC, AML, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certification in compliance or risk management is a plus.
