Role Summary:
As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing various aspects of the company’s operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to address operational challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track key performance indicators and measure progress against goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and develop actionable recommendations for process optimization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new operational initiatives, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational changes and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Provide support and guidance to operational teams, helping them understand and implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and emerging technologies in operations management and supply chain optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations analysis or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive implementation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
