Role Summary:
As a Product Manager at our client’s retail company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and management of the product portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing product strategies, and ensuring the successful launch and promotion of eco-friendly consumer goods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitive landscape in the eco-friendly consumer goods market.
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps to drive growth and profitability of the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sourcing, marketing, and sales to develop new products and bring them to market.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Analyze sales data, market feedback, and consumer insights to optimize product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales and market share.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to eco-friendly and sustainable consumer products.
- Provide training and support to sales teams and retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the retail industry, preferably with a focus on eco-friendly and sustainable consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the retail industry.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
