Role Summary:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients visiting the healthcare facility in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
- Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate department.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office.
