Role Summary:
As a Dermatologist you will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the skin, hair, and nails, providing expert care to patients of all ages while promoting skin health and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations and diagnostic tests to identify dermatological conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with skin disorders, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and providing patient education.
- Conduct surgical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, to treat skin cancers, lesions, and cosmetic concerns.
- Provide counseling and support to patients regarding skin care, sun protection, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other medical specialties, such as oncology, rheumatology, and infectious diseases, to manage systemic conditions with dermatologic manifestations.
- Stay updated on advances in dermatology research and treatment modalities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in dermatology.
- Valid medical license to practice as a dermatologist in Nigeria.
- Board certification or eligibility in dermatology.
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
